Today the Marine Biology students were given a tour of the University of Miami’s Rosenstiel School of Marine and Atmospheric Science.  Highlights included an up-close look at their aquaculture facilities and holding giant aplysia! Fun Fact: Dr. Eric Kandel won the 2000 Nobel Prize in Physiology or Medicine for his work on the biological mechanisms of memory storage using aplysia from this very lab!
